I don't know who to contact from the Rainbow Family to make sure his Rainbow Family friends knew so I Googled The Rainbow Family and yours was the first name up. In the years I have known Coleman he has told me many stories but the one that resonates today is the role The Rainbow Family played in his life. Coleman had a rough childhood that left him with lifelong emotional scars. As a result of his past, he had become a wild sometimes violent young man. He told me that the Rainbow Family showed him that he did not have to be that man to be strong or to be happy. He learned at Rainbow gatherings that he could be gentle and kind, party and laugh,love all the people around him and be loved in return just by being himself. He wanted a different way of existing in the world and by example the Rainbow Family showed him the way. That was many years ago but right up until he died Coleman lived as a loving caring man who was the light of the parties he attended (and he attended A LOT of parties and festivals). He had so many beloved friends that he mentored and learned from. At most gathering he could be found either swing dancing with lovely goddesses or sitting in front of a fire talking until the sun came up with the friends he cherished so dearly. Coleman was the life of every party he attended. He built his home from an old school bus and made it so beautiful on the inside that the bus was once featured on HGTV. I don't know if there are anymembers of The Rainbow Family who still remember Coleman but I wanted to make sure I let someone know who could pass on this information. His memorial service which if Coleman's wishes are honored will end up being a big happy party will be Monday Oct 6, 2008 at 4pm at The Brahma Ridge Event center inCandler, NC. Coleman was the former owner of The Bus Stops Here and Coleman's Burrito Palace and he was a major vendor at the Lake Eden Arts Festivals for several years. Coleman cared passionately about community and he dearly loved his family and friends. He was happiest at a festival or gathering, believing that the shared power, wisdom and grace found in the company of like-minded men and women was life's true treasure. He was a beloved co-founder of the Brahma Ridge Farm in Candler and a cherished member of The Brothers and Sisters of the Reunion. Coleman was the life force of any gathering and, as if endowed with a magnetic field, people were drawn to his charismatic energy. His resounding laugh will always echo in the hearts of those who loved him and throughout the canyons of the farm that was his home. Coleman was a Southern gentleman and lived according to his own hard-won code of being. He credited the Rainbow Family and the Grateful Dead for teaching him a different way of living and giving him the tools to become the man he wanted to be. Coleman lived fully in the moment and often said, talking badly about people bears no fruit. Coleman, who had his father's sparkling blue eyes and his mother's will and determination, was a role model, mentor and teacher to many generations of men and women. If you were lucky enough to have been a member of Coleman's extended family you knew that his loyalty, courage and love were unwavering. He leaves behind his sisters, Holly Berry, of Asheville and Poppy Berry, of Seagrove Beach, Fla.; and his father, E.W. Scotty Berry, of Poquoson, Va. UPDATE: IKE IS MESSING UP LOUISIANA..SURE IS WINDY DOWN THERE

So I hear. Galveston may go underwater.
Here is your second hand report,fresh off the phone ,hot off the keypad .
Spoke with Arrrrrrrron on the ground.
It is as accurate as I could make with the phone connection we had.
past 48 hours-20-30 miles per hour winds. 40-60 mph gusts, not to mention the rain squalls.
The big tent that provided shade for 2000 citizens in the food stamp waiting area blew down.
No one was injured..I think it was empty.
The food stamp station has closed for the storm.
So ARRR volunteers went door to door over a ten square block area to invite the neighbors over for dinner.
Almost 500 people responded and shared a meal .
ARRR volunteers then loaded up a truck with ice and water and 250 meals to deliver to first responders down the road a piece.
The first responders had already been fed , and that load of meals then became dinner for not one , but two shelters .
Somewhat random , but food is getting to some people in need.
4 miles below site is flooded.
tomorrow,sat., a semi truck of what very may be random non food items from Second Harvest will arrive.
won't help make supper but....
mon., two semi's from Conscious Alliance and Organic Valley full of actual food will arrive.
Until then the money for food is coming out of the pockets of the volunteers.
The cost of PROPANE is on our dime for the entire time.
$300-$400 per day. $4,200- $5,600 for two weeks. arrr bank ain't got it.

The Rainbow Oracle


(Colorado 1972)
While at the original Rainbow Gathering, the founding family members were privileged to witness an amazing sight. One beautiful morning as brothers and sisters awoke, it was observed that in the partially snow covered mountain ridges, in the wonderful Colorado Rockies, was a perfect outline of a white buffalo. At first it was noticed by a few but as the day progressed it had become obvious that the white buffalo on the mountain had stolen the show and was the topic of the day.

The next day, at the main circle, a Rainbow sister shared a vision that she had that night. In the vision she saw the white buffalo and she saw that the white buffalo was a man. More importantly she described how in the vision the white buffalo was actually the long awaited Bahana whose arrival all the Native Americans were eagerly awaiting. Later, as the Rainbow family evolved so also did the vision as other pieces of authentic Rainbow prophecy were incorporated into the original vision. Finally the most important part of the White Buffalo vision was divulged, that the White Buffalo/Bahana would make an appearance at the 17th National Rainbow Gathering. Thus began the Rainbow Oracle.

Some of the years leading up to the the fulfillment of the oracle were marked with tragedy. In 1980, in West Viginia, two sisters were brutally murdered by shotgun after being picked up hitchhiking on their way to the National Gathering. It was also reported to me by an elder, who was at the 1987 National, that a brother had been abducted from the Gathering and lynched.

Then in 1988, at the Texas National, a beloved sister was nearly murdered when she was run down in main meadow by a local lunatic in his four-wheel drive. But Texas was the 17th National Rainbow Gathering where death was to be cheated as the Rainbow Oracle was being fulfilled!

Rejoice brothers and sisters of the Rainbow! The fulfillment of the oracle proved that the visions and prophesies of the Rainbow Tribe concerning the White Buffalo were genuine and veritable. So you're probably asking, "How was the oracle fulfilled?" That is a great question and the answer is forthcoming, but first let me explain the role of the Bahana.

The Bahana, also known as the Pahana, is prophetically known as the return of Quetzacoatl, the feathered serpent. Quetzacoatl was Enoch who oversaw the building of the Great Pyramid of Giza and crossed the Atlantic Ocean in search of black granite which he found in Wisconsin and shipped back to Egypt for the pyramid. While Enoch was in the Americas he traveled on foot southward teaching the Native Americans the religion of Adam: the religion of the One True Invisible God, called "Wakan-Tanca." Enoch was known as Quetzacoatl, Kulkulcan, and Itzamna.

Quetzacoatl promised he would return in the later times as the White Buffalo/Bahana to deliver the faithful from the hand of their oppressors and to safely lead the believers through the "fire of purification."

In the Book of the Hopi, Frank Waters tells the legend of the lost white brother. He explains,

After the Fire Clan had migrated to their permanent home, the time would come when they would be overcome by a strange people [the white people]. They would be forced to develop their land and lives according the the dictates of a new ruler, or else they would be treated as criminals and punished. But they were not to resist. They were to wait for the person who would deliver them. This person was their lost white brother, Pahana, [or Bahana] who would return to them the missing corner piece of the tablet, deliver them from their persecutors, and work out with them a new and universal brotherhood of man,...
(Book of the Hopi, page 31)

Let us continue examining the oracle's fulfillment. The sister who was run over by the jeep on that fateful day in Texas was "No Guns." She suffered a punctured lung and nearly died as hundreds of family members encircled her and tried to resuscitate her with drugs and a group "om". Fortunately there was a renowned naturopathic physician in camp. He got in his car and drove around the lake and down to the incident site and arduously made his way through the crowd and administered pure oxygen from an oxygen tank to her and saved her life (I met No Guns on the Navajo Reservation in 1991 and she expressed deep gratitude for this)! That physician was Dr. Leland Jensen, the Bahana, the White Buffalo, the lost white brother.

Beloved family! The Rainbow Oracle was fulfilled because the long awaited Bahana was there at the 17th National Gathering in Texas! Dr. Jensen and a group of Baha'is were there teaching "Fireside" classes, promulgating the new and universal brotherhood and sisterhood of mankind.

Dr. Leland Jensen is the establisher of Baha'u'llah's Revelation. Baha'u'llah was the Second Coming of Christ seated on the throne of King David, and for the Native Americans he is the "Father Sun." Baha'u'llah's message to the world is Justice. It was at the 17th National Gathering that the Rainbow Family finally received justice. 1988 was the year that a District Court Judge finally set a precedent in favor of the Rainbow Family by officially upholding our First Amendment right to peaceable assemblage. Since then no party, neither private nor public, not even the United States Forest Service, has been able to block family members from gathering in droves in the public lands. This, my friends, is a testament to Dr. Jensens mission. For the Rainbow family and the Native American Indians he is the Hopi Bahana, the elder white brother, Quetzacoatl, the white buffalo and the true Baha'i. The Texas National was the only Rainbow gathering that Dr. Leland Jensen ever went to and his appearance there was in fulfillment of the Rainbow Oracle.

Dr. Jensen did not appear, fulfilling prophecy just for the Rainbows, the Native American Indians and the Christians; he has come with teachings for the oneness of humanity, with teachings, explanations and commentaries concerning the Divine Plan. Furthermore, his arrival is prophesied in all of the world religions. For instance, just as the Natives are waiting for the Bahana so to are the Jews waiting for Ha Eretz; the Hindus - 10th "Kalki" Avatar; the Zoroastrians - Saoshyant; the Buddhists - Maitreya; the Christians and the Muslims - Jesus; and the Baha'is are awaiting the arrival of the Seventh Angel. All of these roles and more are fulfilled in Dr. Leland Jensen who now resides in Montana (the "Big Sky") and has educated a core of angelic Baha'is (people of light) who are actively teaching and gathering the 144,000 who are to safely traverse the oncoming cataclysms also called the "fire of purification."

Thousands of people, from all walks of life, including the Rainbow, have already examined Dr. Jensens proofs and credentials as the Promised One; many of whom are actively teaching the "new song" and preparing others to survive the winds of destruction and to enter the resultant Kingdom of Heaven on Earth, Paradise, Utopia, Nirvana. Will you be there? I hope so.

Each person is created with an intellect and free will. These capacities allow us to independently search for the truth; eventually, if we seek hard enough, we find it. What you choose to do at that time is strictly up to you, its called the freedom of choice. God has chosen you to hear part of the message now. This is the most important news since mankind crawled out the ocean as an amoeba! The cosmic bell is tolling. The Seventh Angel has sounded his trumpet. Let those who have ears listen. Will you put your head in the sand like an ostrich or will you sing like the nightingale in the heaven of true knowledge? Seek the truth and the truth will set you free.
