Prayer for Wounded Knee
Stay tuned for news and information on a prayer circle assembly coming to Wounded Knee in South Dakota.
August 6, 2008
On our way to Wounded Knee.
Howdy family,
Raven and I are on our way to the Pine Ridge Lakota Reservation at
Wounded Knee for a private prayer ceremony dedicated to those who
lost their lives during the seige in 1890. The purpose is also to
pray for relations and communications to open up with all tribes and
all people and for the Dakota/Lakota/Nakota peoples to find healing
and reconciliation in their hearts and spirits. It is our way of
showing our deepest sympathy and empathy for this peoples loss so
long ago and to offer our hearts in the healing process among nations.
During this visit, we will visit with some of the families there with whom we have made contact in previous years to discuss the forming of a yearly prayer assembly at Wounded Knee with all tribes and nations until a healing happens. Folks at the reservation expressed their desire to us for 30,000 to come to Wounded Knee and for a public apology from government officials and peoples about the massacre. Their feeling is that if this can happen openly and publicly, the Lakotas can offer true forgiveness and move onward to heal and grow as a people again in the web of all nations. This is essential for the Lakotas and our nation, Wounded Knee being the heart of this great land on which we all enjoy its abundance.
This is not a rainbow gathering. This is a prayer assembly and the
forming of what we hope will be continued councils with the tribes at Pine Ridge. It is our hope that the door will open to many tribes and nations and that together we will assemble more often and find ways to co-exist in harmony with one another as a nation. It is the desire to see love grow, the people prosper, the tribe heal, the nation heal, and for peace to come on earth.
Right now we are in Wyoming traveling to Pine Ridge. This is an
informal assembly beginning with those who feel compelled to come and pray at the Wounded Knee cemetery. Please be respectful of the land and the people and be self sufficient. We will be praying there and meeting with tribal people for counsel as the spirit directs. This is only the beginning of this vision and it does not matter if only a few souls come in the body for spirits by the thousands will be with us.
Please send your prayers to this place for the people and for us that we will be guided by the spirit to walk the correct path in this effort. Email or post here if you would like to share your prayers and visions for this assembly and this counsel. Follow up will be posted after we leave the reservation. We will post any further prayer assemblies and/or counsels that come from this assembly.
We are traveling in a van and will be parking for a period of time
daily at the parking area across from the cemetery, unless we make
arrangements to move to a more private area with our friend who lives just across from the cemetery.
May the Great Spirit bless this effort.
Mitakuye Oyasin.

Give Peace A Chance
2008 Wyoming Rainbow Gathering Composition
This is a beautiful presentation of the gathering
with firepits and drums and music which shows the Kid Village sign just before the police attack. This video is a powerful comprehensive presentation of the gathering in its multiple facets.
Contained within this video is Barry Adams, montana, plunker's speech to the family in the circle and the ohm that follows...shouts of "we love you" and family singing "All we are saying is give peace a chance".
Plunker's talk with family after police incident at a circle in main meadow.
"In all these years, I have been shot at, my children have been shot at. I've had my children ripped off by cops. I've had thousands of family arrested by Feds and my whole life beaten.
You understand?
I have more fire than you could ever imagine.
But I'll tell you what the fire is this time....
The fire is our will.
We do not act from being weak. We act because we are strong in spirit and in our bodies.
Look around you.
There is no way that the Federal Government can win unless they do one thing.... If they end our celebration on the Fourth of July. And every year even in Colorado when they were on us like stink on shit, what did we do?
We ended our ceremony in peace. Our children walked from kid village in peace."
then the OHM......
and the people sang...
"All We Are Saying is Give Peace A Chance".
At the end of the video there is a hauntingly beautiful song from the Jesus Kitchen, with the words that follow below. It strikes to the core of our spirits, regardless of our faith, and shows what rainbow truly represents....
The Love of The Great Spirit, God, the I Am, Creator of all Living.
"Lay down my dear brother. Lay down and take your rest. Won't you lay your head upon your Savior's breast? I know you want but Jesus loves you best. And I bid ya good night, good night, good night (repeat four times)."
One Tin Soldier Rides Away
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after
One tin soldier rides away.
Peace on Earth was all it said.
Welcome Home Family.

Cherokee Nation
Cherokee Nation song still moves me deep inside.
The force of oppression and tyranny has raised its ugly head throughout the earth's history. As this blog unfolds the history of humanity's quest for peace, I will be sharing excerpt's of historical sagas along with video and audio. One of the most recent of these stories, to which my family can relate, is the plight of the Cherokee Nation.
"Maybe some day when we learn, Cherokee Nation will return."
The return of the Iroquois way of government.

After the Siege
After the Siege the Rainbows Sang...
All we are saying....is give peace a chance.....
All we are saying .....is give peace a chance.....
All we are saying......is give peace a chance.....
We Love You Phamily. Thanks for praying with us.
Now we ask you to help get Justice for Just Us....
Thousands made the pilgrimage to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado in the Routt National Forest....to pray for peace on earth.....to heal and seek refuge in the arms of others who desire love, peace, community and harmony....
The Spirit was strong and its presence permeated the mountains for miles around. In the midst of chaos, police force and oppression, out right brutality from Forest Service Officers...
the Spirit maintained a peaceful presence that inspired the assemblers to hold their peace. In spite of road blocks, weapons, assaults, threats and intimidation...and ticketing of hundreds of folks who came to the forest, to the mountains, to pray, for peace on earth.....the people continued to gather...the people continued to pray...and the prayer circle on the fourth of July was the manifestation of all the love and peace that twenty thousand souls could permeate out into the universe.
It was mysterious and powerful.....first the circle forming.....the awe inspiring silence....the hearts beating in unison ....the prayers ascending to heaven....the children parading to the center...the OM......
the rejoicing for God triumphed in spite of men who desire evil more than good....the Love happened.....
No Force Will Ever Stop the Will of God.....
Love is greater than any power on earth.
Please visit the site created after the Colorado 2006 gathering in the Routt National Forest. It is a brief site, but I am reactivating it now and connecting it to One Tin Soldier. It is important that a record of all these years of incidents be made. Please send your photos, videos, stories, legal documents, and affidavits as well as your prayers, your visions, your heartsongs for peace so that I can add them to One Tin Soldier and Rainbow Justus.
Remember, Peace on Earth is all it Said.

Protect your inherit rights. Do it for the Children. Think of the next seven generations. Do you want your descendants to enjoy the freedoms that you have enjoyed? Work to protect what our ancestors thought was worthy enough for which to die.
Let us live to be free.
DO IT FOR THE CHILDREN.
Have you read the "instrument" known as the Constitution for these united states of America? If not, I would urge you to take the time to read it now. Follow the link below.
The Constitution for these united states of America.
Preamble
We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Powerful words by which to live!
A great responsibility rests upon the shoulders of each and every individual who lives in this country, these united states of America.
It is time to take that responsibility to govern our selves very seriously.
It is not up to some one else.
It is up to you and me.

Seeking Peace
A sea gull just soared to the heavens taking off from the bush to my left. In the distance, boats jet and skip across the fresh water bay at Willard, Utah, just north of Ogden. The great rocky mountains spire to the heavens like giant towers along the Wasatch Front reaching peaks of 12,000 to 14,000 feet above sea level.
Serene waters accompany the birds that serenade me as I gaze off into the fresh water of the Willard Bay, which kisses the Great Salt Lake on the other side of the causeway. Here, I gaze at the beauty and find some serenity.
I ponder what to write about. Sitting at a picnic table in the campground, I have been processing the events of the past few weeks of my life.
For three weeks, I spent time communing with nature, spirit and souls in a gathering for peace and healing that culminates every July 4 in a prayer sent out by thousands of souls who OHM together for peace on earth in the cathedral of nature, one of God's beautiful meadows in the mountain forests. This year, the annual gathering of the tribes of the rainbow family of living light chose the Big Sandy National Forest in Sublette county in Wyoming. I made my yearly vigil to find peace and healing, to enjoy the communing of souls and spirits in blessed togetherness and brotherly/sisterly love. Here, I sought the serenity of the mountains to refresh my soul.
I did not find peace this year. Instead, the assembly of peace seeking souls found war declared upon us as we gathered in the mountains in the national forest exercising our desires for spiritual oneness and communing with the Great Spirit. War came upon us from our own Federal Government through its various agencies within the Forest Service, the Bureau of Land Management, the State Police, the Sheriffs Department and other agencies who co-operated with the Incident Management Team as the disrupted the peace gathering with violence, chaos, weapons of war and invasion upon the peace of the people assembled.
Many moments were filled with conflict and terror as the weapons and tactics of war were inflicted upon the souls at this gathering.
Having left just a few days ago, I am still assimilating all that I saw and experienced at this gathering. I am pondering what level of responsibility I have to share this information and the stories of what happened to Americans on American soil as federal militant forces in the government waged war upon the people.
I wonder where to begin.

Ode to Billy Jack
Once upon a rainbow night, some hippies gathered by a fire. Stories began to move in circles of light in the glimmering moonshine.Tales of heroics from the cool seventies became known as hipstories...Interpreted means "legends", and every hippie from the old days has some.
Spotlights begin with the moonshine in the early dark of night
And not the moonshine hillbillies are prone to sample. Mountain men use a jug,
hippies' moonshine comes in two ways....In a flask sometimes, but usually it falls out from the sky
and bathes dancers like a disco flood light
rivoting in the eerie shadows of black lights,
but more romantic....
Hippies dance to the rhythm of the drums
as they beat out in harmony to the native wiles of the heart....
And symmetric dancers express the artful beauty
of body in movement....
Some naked, some dressed expressly to speak the native songs;
All poetic;
all beautiful;
all a prelude to the birth of legends.
As for poetry, and beauty, and legends....the song remains the same,
All beat to the rhythm of freedom as it lives in the heart.
This freedom cannot be found defined on the pages of a book.
Nor can this freedom be expressed in one poem,
or one work of nature's beauty
or in the tale of one legend...
Rather, this freedom that lives in the heart
is the sum total of the expression of all these things:
poetry, beauty, legends, music, dance, thunder, lightning,
the beating of the drums,
and the pulsating heartbeat in the breast of a child who for the first time gazes in awe and wonder, and with the eyes of innocence drinks in the essence of the freedom of life; for a child knows no boundaries or limits; but instead, seizes life in it's true existence; uninhibited, totally free........
Free to laugh, free to cry, free to run and dance and frolic with wind, free to be real.
A child in free expression is the foundation for all true poetry for they are the rhyme in the words that inspire us to express our love, our passion, our drama and our fury....climactic...wild...free....as intense as the thunder and lightning in a storm......as soft as the petals of a flower.....as fragrant as a meadow moist with the early morning dew....as compassionate as a child who hugs a kitten closely to their breast to give it love and warmth .....as furious as a tornado when it crashes to earth in a funnel of wind, ice and debris as it shreds the ground below.....as beautiful as the love song that rends a heart and makes tears flow as freely as a spring rain.....as painful as the sound of crying to a new mother or as anguished as the perils of war in all it's devastation of life.....
A child in free expression is the foundation for all these things and more......for feeling the full spectrum of senses and emotion is the real definition of freedom....unfettered.....expressed.....fulfilled.
And it is on this foundation of freedom that all poetry is found, that all beauty is visualized. It is from this premise of real freedom that all legends are born. And from this premise springs forth the greatest "hipstory" ever to be told, a legend of legends, a magnitude greater than quake 8.0 ..... the ultimate tale of freedom lives in the pages of the stories of the rainbow.
This tale beats in hearts 144,000 strong.
The sound of these heartbeats reaches beyond the realm of the known, past the boundaries of the heavens and into the Infinite Songs being sung once upon a Rainbow Night by some Hippies gathered by a Fire.
Listen closely in the quiet of night and you will hear the rhythm of drums and hearts beating in harmony with the moonshine and just a whisper above the rhythm the sound of a melody becomes clear in the faint echoes of the words.....
(singing softly)......
All we are saying, is give peace a chance.....
All we are saying, is give peace a chance....
All we are saying, is give peace a chance.....
And the legend lives on.............

Inspiration received at the Idaho Gathering.
It is dedicated to Billy Jack and the movie that helped impress
my young mind to take the course in life that I needed to follow.
Thank you Tom Laughlin(Billy Jack) and Dolores Taylor for giving America the vision.
I am inviting all musicians to consider making a recording of the poem "Ode to Billy Jack" as a gift to the Rainbow Family of Living Light. Music background would be most desirable and a good narrating voice to read the words, with a quiet background of singers singing "All We are Saying is give Peace a Chance". Email me if you want to make this dream a reality. I will help distribute the CD's. All funds from the CD will be used for legal funds for the rainbow family and for charity to the family, to include providing food for main circle and other supplies such as for C.A.L.M., water pipes, filters and radios.
Email summer breeze at angelonmyshoulder77@yahoo.com if you wish to produce this CD.
One Tin Soldier Rides Away
Peace on Earth was all it said.
Listen, children, to a story
That was written long ago,
'Bout a kingdom on a mountain
And the valley-folk below.
On the mountain was a treasure
Buried deep beneath the stone,
And the valley-people swore
They'd have it for their very own.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after
One tin soldier rides away.
So the people of the valley
Sent a message up the hill,
Asking for the buried treasure,
Tons of gold for which they'd kill.
Came an answer from the kingdom,
"With our brothers we will share
All the secrets of our mountain,
All the riches buried there."
Now the valley cried with anger,
"Mount your horses! Draw your sword!"
And they killed the mountain-people,
So they won their just reward.
Now they stood beside the treasure,
On the mountain, dark and red.
Turned the stone and looked beneath it
"Peace on Earth" was all it said.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after
One tin soldier rides away.
Go ahead and hate your neighbor,
Go ahead and cheat a friend.
Do it in the name of Heaven,
You can justify it in the end.
There won't be any trumpets blowing
Come the judgement day,
On the bloody morning after
One tin soldier rides away.

**Please watch the videos in the sidebar about the police raid on kiddie village at the Wyoming 2008 Rainbow Gathering. This will help you understand why I started this blog and the catalyst behind Cephas' and my mission to speak out for freedom, liberty and justice across America. Join us on our journey to Washington, D.C. where we intend to meet with as many Congressional Representatives as possible. It is our goal, our hope, our mission, to see legislation that will end military style training ops on American people, or any people for that matter, under humanitarian laws. Please help us fulfill this mission and actualize the vision of a safer, more just and more peaceful America.
A page will be added with full size video links and information regarding the kiddie village incident.
